My name is Thorsten Beeck. I’m a web designer & developer living in Northern Germany.

I’ve been making websites professionally since 2009 and personally since 2002. When I built my first website fancy things like flexbox or grid didn’t yet exist. Instead tables and spacer gifs were a big thing back then.

Nowadays, most of my days consist of writing, deleting and refactoring code. Being a generalist working at the intersection of design and code, I focus on creating accessible, inclusive, performant and sustainable digital experiences.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia Production. Being a trained merchant in wholesale & foreign trade, I also have a deep knowledge in business administration.

In my free time I like to spend time with my family, enjoy the countryside, do some weightlifting, watch movies or visit one or the other heavy metal concert/festival.
